High Compression Ratio Water-Cooled Motor

Running a high compression ratio of 12.5:1, the engine delivers 10.8kW @9000rpm. This puts the engine output and bike performance just within the limits of L Plate use in the UK. Another important feature of a high compression engine is low fuel consumption, an increasingly relevant feature in today’s World.
To achieve this Zontes utilise the latest materials and technologies available to design a class beating engine.

Slipper Clutch

Often seen in larger capacity, high performance models, Zontes introduce a slipper clutch to their latest 125cc models. The movement feels lighter in the hand and if a gear change is mis-timed so as engine and road speed differ hugely, the slipper clutch softens the blow. Unintentional wheel lock ups are avoided, mechanical shock lessened, and rider comfort and safety enhanced.


Centre Mount Mono Shock

A centrally mounted mono shock softens the ride whilst delivering excellent control. Filled with high pressure nitrogen to ensure stability over long journeys and set with a small amount of pre-load, the rear suspension offers excellent comfort with reduced rider fatigue.

Dual USB Port & Accessory Bar As Standard

Fitted with a twin port 2.1A fast charge USB socket, all your vital auxiliary devices can be connected and charged for additional convenience. Accessory bars with fitted crash bungs are supplied as standard for enhanced safety and protection.

LED Lighting

Automotive grade LED lights projected from compact light cells produces an outstanding illumination field of vision. The lamp unit is designed to dissipate heat to prolong LED life and reduce luminaire decay.

Dual Channel Bosch Abs

The dual-channel Bosch ABS system allows the rider to calmly control the motorcycle in any unexpected situation. The ABS system brings confidence under heavy braking, especially in adverse weather and on unstable road surfaces.

10AH Battery

Few motorcycles in this sector enjoy such a large battery capacity. A 10AH battery allows rider to connect auxiliary accessories with confidence.

A tyre pressure monitoring system connected to the LCD display ensures greater rider safety, reduced fuel consumption, and longer tyre life.

Ergonomic Shaped Seat Cushion

Zontes’ unique automatic cushion production line uses unique anti-foaming sponge forming technology. The result is a soft sponge which fits tight with the cover, and a sponge that does not flake or deform. The one-piece seat cushion is comfortable for long rides, yet full of retro style.

Electronic Seat Lock

Integrated into the central lock mechanism, the seat lock operates remotely for added convenience.

Aluminium Alloy Swing Arm

The optimum choice of alloy, cast to an exacting design, ensures our lightweight swing arm is both strong and rigid. The design affords excellent road handling and rider feedback.

Aluminium Alloy Cylinder

Cast and CNC machined in house, the all-aluminium cylinder operates without a liner, which facilitates larger waterways to channel heat away more efficiently. Improved heat dissipation enhances both performance and engine durability.

Stainless Steel Exhaust System

Discreetly under-slung, the full stainless steel exhaust system is designed for a long service life, with the exit pipe shrouded in a cool-touch cover to avoid burning you stylish riding kit.
